S. boulardii, identified as saccharomyces boulardii, is a probiotic (or "friendly" organism). It's a strain of yeast called Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
"Friendly" organisms such as S. boulardii can aid in the defence against "bad" organisms that could spread disease. S. boulardii.
